M. Gary Neuman, a psychotherapist and marriage counselor, had conducted a survey of 200 husbands who had an affair and who never did. Neuman try to find the reason behind the infidelity of men. Here is the data it finds.
1. 48 percent of husbands said the main reason for dissatisfaction with emotional so they cheated. In contrast to the myth has been circulating that the man's infidelity is sexual affairs, was only 8 percent of justifying it.
2. 66 percent of a cheating husband feels guilty for doing it. In fact, 68 percent said they never thought it would do so, and almost 100 per cent said they hope never to do it.
3. 77 percent have cheated on husband's best friend who also had an affair. It seems to get along with people thus making them consider the possibility that infidelity is common place.
4. 40 percent of husbands met their cheating partner in the world of work. Neuman says, is often the case, the woman who became his lover is a woman who adored the man, the man considered a high achievement, and always praised the efforts of the man in a career.
5. Only 12 percent of men who cheated on to say that physically, they are more superior cheating partner than their wives.
6. 73 percent of a cheating husband need time to get to know a woman for more than a month later had an affair with him. Only 6 percent who said directly physically involved with a woman on the first encounter or on the same day when they met. That is, each wife had enough time to see the danger signs to be more vigilant.
